So far this year we have had the honour & privilege to play lots of private parties and weddings.
We will of course, keep you updated of any public performances that crop up in the future.
We are also planning another exciting ‘classic’ album for 2019 too – so watch this space…..
For now, here is a lovely testimonial from Jon & Robyn Coates who were married at The Longhouse in Bruton, Somerset on 16th June. https://www.longhouseweddings.co.uk An absolutely stunning venue, where the ceremonies take place in a beautiful gazebo made by North Star Timber Frames – http://www.northstartimberframes.co.uk
The amazing Denise Botrill from Taste (South West) http://www.tastesomerset.co.uk were doing the food (completely delicious!) & have been huge champions of our band since she first saw us play at a wedding in 2013.
Thank you so much Denise, and thank you Robyn & Jon for your kind words about the band!
“Bubsie was great fun to work with during the planning process of our wedding. Her enthusiasm is infectious and her understanding of what works is very reassuring. The band learnt some specific songs for our wedding including Bob Dylan’s ‘Forever Young’ for our first dance. Bubsie’s take on this song was just brilliant and ensured that this moment was special but not cheesy.
Throughout the evening, Bubsie and the Beat Brothers kept energy levels high; the dance floor was never empty! Bubsie has a fabulous voice and the band provided outstanding backing; they were slick and well rehearsed throughout and the sound was just awesome. We’ve had so many compliments from friends about our wedding band and questions about how we found such an amazing band. Having live music was one of the best decisions we made when planning our wedding and Bubsie and the Beat Brothers exceeded our expectations in every way.”
Join us for some public performances this Summer – everyone is invited!
We are gearing up for our wedding season as well as playing some lovely acoustic dates, which are open to all. It would be great to see you there!
Look out for announcements about our appearance at The Priory Park Festival – bringing Fleetwood Mac’s Classic 1977 album Rumours to the amazing venue that is The Guildhall nestled in Priory Park & steeped in history.
See you soon.
It’s shaping up to be a busy Summer for the Beat Brothers and Bubsie! They have lots of amazing weddings and parties lined up and are very excited to be playing Joni Mitchell’s Blue for the Festival of Chichester. It will take place at the magical setting of the Guildhall in Priory Park on Sunday 28th June 2015 at 6pm.

We are having a wonderful Summer playing many different venues and for lovely couples. We’ve had a very shining review from Emily & Jimmy who tied the knot this weekend. Thank you for your very kind words. It was a truly wonderful day & we felt very lucky to be providing the entertainment..
“Dearest Bubsie and her Beat Brothers, you were amazing. We all loved you and your band so much. The music was brilliant and you radiated warmth and fun and got everyone dancing. You have such a gift and I’d recommend you wholeheartedly to anyone wanting a live band at their wedding or any other event.
Thank you so much,
Ems and Jimmy xxx “
The Beat Brothers are having so much fun celebrating their classic album Rumours this year, Bubsie and Doug recorded a sunny little video of Never Going Back Again. The album’s well crafted songs have been going down a storm with Fleetwood Mac fans & music lovers across the generations – a true sign of a timeless album.
They have some spaces for bookings during the Autumn and Winter, so if you think Rumours would be perfect your venue, event or party – get in touch with the band.
Listen out for the musical birds!
Bubsie and the Beat Brothers can now proudly present their video to ‘Rolling In The Deep’.
Their cover of Adele’s popular song has become an instant fan favourite and its great to now be able to share it with people who have not yet had the chance to see them play.
Many thanks to Dave Tressler for his fantastic job filming the band, and Tim Hudson for recording and sound engineering the track.
The film was shot after one day recording at Zee Bar, Chichester University’s Student Union Bar, the results of which can be listened to at the bottom of here.
